Map and Directions to Hollywood Beach, Florida
OK so you are interested in visting Hollywood Beach but aren't sure exactly how
to get there. If you live outside of Florida, your best bet is to fly into Fort Lauderale airport
(FLL). As you leave Fort Lauderdale airport, head south on US1 about two and a half miles till you get to
Sheridan Street. Turn left onto Sheridan Street and proceed about two miles till you reach North Ocean
Drive. You will have to cross a bridge shortly before you reach the island. After crossing the bridge,
the north end of Hollywood Beach or North Beach Park will be across the street. You can park there but the
center of Hollywood Beach is actually about a mile to the south at Johnson Street where the main parking deck
is. There is another parking deck at Connecticut Street. Most side streets also offer limited parking
as well.
If you are driving from within Florida, take I-95 to the Hollywood Boulevard exit
and head east. Drive about three miles east along Hollywood Boulevard till you reach Ocean Drive.
You will have to cross a bridge shortly before reaching the island. As you cross the bridge, merge into the
lane which takes you north to Hollywood Beach. You will see the Ramada Hollywood in front of you. As
you exit onto Ocean Drive, head north about a half mile till you reach the Johnson Street parking deck. This
is considered the center of Hollywood Beach. If traffic is heavy or if you arrive later in the
day, there is limited parking on the side streets as well as additional parking areas further north at
Connecticut Street and North Beach Park.
